Everything's Confirmed

I’ve got my plane tickets, caregivers and confirmation from Clínica Ruiz in Puebla, Mexico. We’re all set. I have just two more MRIs to do next Wednesday, and I am ready to go on May 22nd. The first day of treatment is the 23rd. Each of my family members will be there at some point to assist me, splitting up the four-week treatment among them.

I’m not nervous at all, rather just a little anxious to get this thing started. Check out the background pages if you want to know more about what’s going on with me and/or this treatment.

Important Timeframes

  • My Stem Cell Transplant Date: June 5th, 2016
  • Treatment duration: 4 weeks
  • Typical onset of disability reversal: +9 months
  • Typical complete recovery from procedure: +1 to +2 years
  • Typical maximum reversal of disability: +2 years

Disclaimer

I am not a doctor. I am a scientist (engineer) who has had MS since March 2013.
